A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will be opening in Raleigh County

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided over $4 billion to Region 3 states and the District of Columbia for costs related to saving lives and protecting communities from COVID-19.

BEAVER, WV (WOAY)- FEMA will be opening a new disaster recovery center in Raleigh County in the wake of the February flooding.

It’ll open on Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm at the Beckley-Raleigh County Emergency Services building, located at 1224 Airport Rd in Beaver.

All residents, homeowners, and renters alike are encouraged to register for disaster-impacted assistance. Those in Logan, McDowell, Mercer, Mingo, Raleigh, Wayne, and Wyoming counties who sustained losses can apply in multiple ways…
