Marshall University Manufacturing Center offering Early Stage Funding program in support of West Virginia Entrepreneurs

West Virginia (WOAY) If you are a Mountain State entrepreneur in the early stages of growing your business, there’s a resource that could help you out.

Marshall University’s Manufacturing Center has launched an early-stage funding program to support startups and businesses based in West Virginia on their transition from idea to implementation.

Through the program, entrepreneurs will have access to early-stage funding opportunities, one-on-one technical assistance, and guidance on business planning, financial readiness, and economic development resources.

The program and its offerings aim to strengthen business sustainability statewide.

Organizers say the opportunity is perfect for sole proprietors, startups, and small businesses in rural and underserved communities preparing to seek funding and/or formalize their business operations.
