A Fayette County man claims to photograph bigfoot

DANESE, WV (WOAY) – Local coal miner, Billy Humphrey, says he and his wife saw bigfoot lurking in the woods near their home in Danese on October 21st, 2019. Humphrey claims before bigfoot disappeared he was able to snap a quick photo with his phone.

“I was lucky enough to get a picture on a phone that I had. In the picture, you’ll notice that he’s already started to turn and walk back down. When he got completely out of sight he let out a call “Whoooooooah!”

According to Humphrey, without question, the figure that he saw was not an animal, along with taking the photo of bigfoot Humphrey also discovered extremely large footprints.

“This measures 16 1/2 by 10 inches wide, which would show how big he was,” Humphrey said while holding up a clay mold made from a footprint he found in the area.

Along with large footprints, Humphrey said the size of the figure he saw was of something that he never has seen before.

“As he turns to walk off his hand was so long that it had to be around his knee area even as he slummed. His forearms, arms and his chest was just massive,” said Humphrey.

Humphrey says that before the incident he had ridiculed such claims but is now a believer.

“All I can tell any viewer listening to this is that they’re 100 percent real. Nobody can tell me what I have seen, what I didn’t see. Nobody can tell me that I did not see something walk off or my wife didn’t see something walk off, he’s real and he’s in West Virginia.”

Humphrey has partnered with bigfoot researchers and will continue to investigate the legendary creature.
