A Fayette County couple is facing multiple felony charges

Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County couple is charged with multiple felonies.

Fayette County Sheriff Jess McMullen tells WOAY that 45-year-old Timothy A. Miller of Prudence was arrested and charged with multiple felonies including Grand Larceny, Destruction of Property, and Gross Child Neglect as well as the misdemeanor offenses of Animal Cruelty, and Simple Possession of Narcotics.

According to Sheriff McMullen, 42-year-old Jaimee M. Miller, of Prudence, was also arrested and charged with multiple offenses including a felony charge of Gross Child Neglect and the misdemeanor charge of Animal Cruelty.

On April 14, 2025, Fayette County Deputys were notified of the theft of a generator at the Fayette Clinic. While investigating the theft deputy’s obtained security footage which showed a male removing a generator and driving away in a white pickup truck. By viewing additional security video deputies were able to identify a license plate number.

On April 15, 2025, deputies tracked the vehicle to a residence in Prudence where they located the stolen generator in the driveway.

After obtaining a search warrant to investigate additional stolen items, deputies found children and animals living in the house in “extremely deplorable conditions”.

Fayette County Animal Control took custody of the animals, and the children were taken by Fayette County CPS workers.
