A Break from the Snow Tomorrow; Icy Storm Brings a Sloppy Start to the Week

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Today, we have seen significant snowfall amounts across the area through the day. The snow will last through most of the night, but will leave by afternoon tomorrow to give us some relief before next week.

Sunday will bring more snow into the equation before we are hit by a major ice storm on Monday, causing disruptions to traffic and possible power outages. Be prepared with non-perishable foods, water, blankets, radios, and flashlights in case the snow and ice do knock out the power.

Tuesday through Wednesday will see lingering snow before relief is finally seen Thursday and Friday. We do stay bitter cold though, dipping into the teens next week. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the details:
