Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – West Virginia American Water has announced a $700,000 investment project on McKell Ave in Glen Jean.
The project will replace 3,740 feet of aging pipe with 6-inch PVC main and 2-inch PVC main.
Work will be done on McKell Avenue from Main Street to Collins Hill Road and Pearl and Holcomb Street.
Work started the week of October 12 and should be finished by the end of April 2027.
Work will happen Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. Be sure to expect traffic restrictions.
This is part of West Virginia American Water’s plan to invest 129 million dollars in upgrades across the state.
