Beckley, WV (WOAY) Rehabilitation work is underway on the New River Park Loop Trail in Beckley.
The trail will be temporarily closed for the next couple of weeks while crews complete improvements designed to make the trail safer, more sustainable, and more enjoyable for residents and visitors.
The City of Beckley is thanking the Beckley Area Foundation for its support of the project, saying the foundation’s investment helps make improvements like this possible.
Officials are asking the public for patience during the temporary closure and say they look forward to welcoming visitors back to a refreshed trail soon.
