Charleston, WV (WOAY) West Virginia’s new Office of Entrepreneurship (WVOE) is asking people across the state to help design its new logo.
Secretary of State Kris Warner and the WVOE are inviting entrepreneurs, designers, business owners, students, and community members to submit their ideas.
The office launched on July 1 with Lesli Taylor beginning her role as coordinator.
Taylor has since traveled across West Virginia, meeting with business owners, community organizations, state leaders, and members of the West Virginia Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.
She says the goal is to create a logo that reflects the spirit of entrepreneurship and the people building West Virginia’s future.
Submissions can include written descriptions, design concepts, individual visual elements, or a completed logo.
The deadline is August 31.
Ideas can be submitted by email to ltaylor@wvsos.gov.
