
Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) The West Virginia State Police has a sobriety checkpoint scheduled for Fayette County.
The checkpoint will be at Route 16 in Oak Hill between State Street and Ridgewood Avenue on Thursday, August 13, from 6:00 pm to midnight.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to detect and deter impaired drivers and educate the public about the dangers of driving while under the influence.
