Tracking the aftermath of Tuesday night’s severe weather

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – We’re still tracking the aftermath of last night’s severe weather.

Areas of Fayette and Greenbrier counties saw flooding. Some bridges were covered in water.

High water caused temporary shutdowns on Route 19 from Lochgelly to Summerlee Road and on West Virginia Route 61 from Montgomery to Deepwater.

Fayette County Office of Emergency Management Director Jak Kincaid said the damage was minimal compared to other counties to the north.

No casualties were reported in Fayette County.
