West Virginia Grant Resource Centers hosting grant writing assistance workshops in Mercer and Kanawha County on June 16 & 17

West Virginia (WOAY) The West Virginia Grant Resource Centers are bringing grant-writing assistance directly to local communities this week.

The organization is hosting three free Mobile Office Hours events in Bluefield, Princeton, and Belle on Tuesday, June 16, and Wednesday, June 17.

Grant writers will be in Mercer County today, Bluefield, from  2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Craft Memorial Library on 600 Commerce Street, and in Princeton from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Princeton Public Library at 920 Mercer Street.

The walk-in sessions will allow communities, nonprofits, small businesses, and other grant-eligible organizations to meet one-on-one with grant writers and receive technical assistance for funding opportunities.

Officials say the events are designed to help support economic, workforce, and community development projects across the Mountain State.
