Mercer County, WV (WOAY) – WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital has named its Nurse of the Year.
Congratulations to Charles Smith, a nurse on the progressive care unit.
He was honored for his commitment to patients, his leadership and teamwork, and his clinical excellence.
Smith has been with the hospital for 24 years and has received 25 nominations.
In addition, Nurse Leader of the Year was awarded to Michele Farmer, manager of central sterile, day surgery, and endoscopy.
