West Virginia DNR is hosting ‘Becoming an Outdoorswoman’ workshop

Wyoming County, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources will hold a Becoming an Outdoorswoman workshop at Twin Falls State Park next month.

The workshop is happening May 1 – 3. Registration is now open.

It is part of a nationally recognized program designed to introduce women to outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. There will be 20 unique classes ranging from archery to fly fishing to stream ecology.

The workshop is limited to 75 people, and registration costs $225. That fee covers everything except lodging, which is available with an added cost.

Participants who want to take a fishing class will need their fishing license and trout stamp.
