Beckley, WV (WOAY) Parents and caregivers are invited to attend an upcoming event focused on protecting children online.
The United Way of Southern West Virginia Women United group is hosting a lunch and presentation about keeping children safe from online predators.
The program will feature a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent, who will speak about online safety and warning signs families should know.
The event is set for Thursday, March 19, at noon at the Black Knight Municipal Park.
Lunch will be provided, and attendance is free, but organizers ask anyone planning to attend to RSVP.
