Clay Center hosting Winter Wonderlabs through December 30

Charleston, WV (WOAY) The Clay Center invites families to join them for some fun that will keep them sheltered from the cold while also teaching them about the weather.  

Winter Wonderlabs is a series of weather-themed Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM) labs, allowing families to shake off the frigid cold each day with themed hands-on activities.  

Visitors have three opportunities to attend the labs each day, with sessions happening at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. 

The workshops kicked off on Friday, December 26, covering the topic of polar polymers, working with winter slime & instant snow, with additional workshops scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 pm. 

There will be more themed events on Saturday, December 27, continuing on Monday, December 29, and continuing through Tuesday, December 30. 

No registration is required, and all activities are included with admission.
