WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): The weather is, quite frankly, about as uneventful as watching paint dry. At least its wonderfully beautiful, as we have temperatures in the lower 70s and sunny skies once again today. We’ll have a bit more of a breeze, but it won’t be impactful minus a nice feeling under the afternoon sun. As we get into the nighttime hours, we’ll dip back into the mid 40s, making for another brisk night. Make sure to have a hoodie around if you are traveling overnight or early in the morning. The only blip in the forecast over the rest of the week is a slight disturbance on Thursday. However, it will not produce rain in our area, mainly bringing a bit more cloud cover to the region. The rain from this disturbance will impact Kentucky and Tennessee before rain dissipates before the tri-state border. Otherwise, the only worthwhile trend is the gradual increase of temperatures back to above-average for the first time in a few weeks. Heading into next week, there is finally a slight chance of rain showing up in the forecast. While the chances are slight, we need this rain in the region to keep a drought out of the region.
