USPS price increases take effect on July 14

West Virginia (WOAY)- It’s your last chance to get forever stamps at their current price.

A first-class forever stamp will soon cost 73 cents, a nickel more than the current 68 cents.

Prices for other services are also increasing, including postcards and metered letters.

The new prices take effect on July 14.

The hikes are part of the USPS 10-year “Delivering for America” plan.

It is expected to generate $44 billion in additional revenue by 2031.
