OAK HILL, WV (WOA) – Gas prices are slightly on the rise across West Virginia, and experts are warning that increases could get worse.
According to GasBuddy, the average price per gallon in West Virginia is $3.37. That’s three cents more expensive than last week, but still 7 cents cheaper than last month.
The average price is roughly the same as it was this time last year.
However, drivers should prepare for increases as we get deeper into the summer… experts warn that the busy hurricane season that’s been forecasted could drive prices up as those tropical storms develop.
