Milton, WV (WOAY) – One of Cabell County’s towns will host a festival dedicated to all things pumpkin.
The 40th annual West Virginia Pumpkin Festival in Milton on begins Thursday, Oct. 2 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 5. Admission is $5 on Thursday and Friday before noon and $10 all day on Saturday and Sunday.
According to event organizers, festival attendees can find food, shop with vendors and enjoy music and family fun at the event. The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and then operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
On the opening day of the event, you can catch musical performances by Cassee Adkins, Donaven Blevins and The Hillbilly Drive and the Courtney Jo Band.
Musical performances on Friday include John Green and Fleetwood’s Heart. On Saturday, Emmy Davis, The Weekend Warriors, Cassee Adkins and Non-Friction take the stage.
