Zach Bryan to perform in Huntington in August

Huntington, WV (WOAY) – One of country music’s hottest performers is coming to Huntington.

Marshall Athletics announce that grammy award winning artist Zach Bryan will headline a concert at Joan C. Edwards Stadium on August 30, 2025.

According to a media release from Marshall University, the concert will start at 7 p.m. with special guest Petey USA opening the show.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. ET and can be purchased online through AXS.

“This one has been a goal from the beginning as part of our annual Game Plan,” said Christian Spears, Marshall’s Director of Athletics. “We have worked to make Joan C. Edwards Stadium a viable option for a major recording artist. Bringing a concert of this magnitude to our region with an artist like Zach Bryan is super-special. We are so thankful for his team, the folks at AEG and our athletics staff and university community who did not flinch at the effort and work of it. I’m grateful to be at a place with people who can make these things happen! It’s going to be a spectacularly great event!”

Zach Bryan has recently released several announcements involving stadium tour dates for 2025. Marshall’s Joan C. Edwards Stadium joins a list of large stadium venues that includes Michigan Stadium, Notre Dame Stadium and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

According to Marshall Athletics, this isn’t the first time the Grammy award-winning artist has been to “The Joan”. Bryan attended Marshall football’s 2024 Homecoming game and saw the Thundering Herd’s 52-37 win over Appalachian State.
