Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Despite injury, adversity, and a loss at the state championship the Lady Warriors stood strong as a family. North Marion defeated Wyoming East 72-62 as the Huskies took the Class AA state title. The Warriors fought hard today as Kara Sandy and Emily Saunders both posted game-high 16 points. Wyoming East head coach Angie Boninsegna was incredibly proud of her girls for their strength and fight all season long.
