CLEAR FORK, WV (WOAY) – A Wyoming County woman was found dead late Friday night.
According to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched to a dead on arrival call off of Rt. 971 in Clear Fork on Friday night, August 7, at around 11:30 pm.  Upon arrival, they found Calista Nicole Trent, 42, of Clear Fork deceased.
Deputies say Trent had been living in a tent when it caught fire. Her remains were found inside the tent. Her body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
