WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Wyoming County Schools will partially reopen tomorrow as sanitation and cleaning continue amid an outbreak of a skin infection.
Mullens Elementary and Middle School, Wyoming East High School and Westside High School will all remain closed through Friday.
All other schools will open tomorrow. Extracurricular activities at those schools will resume as well.
The school board says it hopes to fully reopen all schools on Monday, but that depends on air-quality assessments, completion of cleaning and sanitation, and clearance from the health department.
The board says it will continue working with the health department and Servpro and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
