Wyoming County man pleads guilty to felony gun possession

Bud, WV (WOAY)- A Wyoming county man has pleaded guilty to felony gun possession. 

According to a department press release, Wyoming County Sheriffs executed a search warrant at a residence in Bud, where they discovered a semi-automatic pistol. 

The home’s resident, 79-year-old Paul David Hill, had previously been convicted of a felony and is not permitted to own a firearm. 

Felony possession of a firearm is punishable by a five-year minimum sentence. 

Hill will face sentencing in March.
