Wyoming County, WV (WOAY) – A Wyoming County man is in jail on drug related charges.
52-year-old James Larry Smith was charged with 5 counts of Delivery of Fentanyl, one count of Conspiracy, three counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine and one count of Maintaining a Drug Dwelling.
According to the criminal complaint, Sgt. L.M. Cook stated that law enforcement made five controlled fentanyl purchases and three controlled methamphetamine purchases for cash from Smith between March 25, 2025, and May 11, 2025. The drug transactions were captured on audio / video recording devices in the Ravencliff area of Wyoming County, WV.
James Larry Smith is currently in the Southern Regional Jail on a $175,000 cash only bond.
