Wyoming County Health Department asks all businesses to limit customers to ten at a time

PINEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Wyoming County’s health department has ordered all businesses that are still open to limit customers to a max of ten in their buildings.

Fred Cox, the Health Department Administrator, says the decision was made to help further limit the spread of coronavirus, and that these measures will ensure people practice social distancing when shopping.

“We certainly like to make sure that we limit the amount of folks that contract this disease. And the best way to do that of course is to practice social distancing, and stay at home, and wash your hands and all the things that people have been hearing. These efforts were essentially a way to try to get that done,” Cox said.

While some stores individually are limiting people in their stores, most counties have yet to make any official orders of the topic.
