Wyoming County BOE announces new safety measures for upcoming school year

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Wyoming County Board of Education has announced new safety measures that will be implemented this upcoming school year.

The Board of Education says each school in Wyoming County and Wyoming County school buses will be equipped with contactless thermometers to screen staff and students upon arriving at school. Each school will have multiple screening stations to ensure safety.

 

The Board of Education is also installing technology that will scan 30 students per second to monitor and screen temperatures.

Also, water bottle filling stations will be installed in all Wyoming County School cafeterias to ensure clean and safe drinking water for all students.
