Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – WVU Tech’s robotics teams have been ranked in the top fifteen, and that is across the entire world.
The tech team went undefeated at the VEX Robotics Tournament in Fairmont last weekend, taking home the excellence and skill awards, and were named tournament champions.
That win was good to rank them fourth in the United States, placing ahead of big schools like Auburn and the University of Florida.
The Tech team has now qualified for the World Robotics Competition, coming in at thirteenth worldwide.
