Beckley, WV (WOAY)—West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, September 5, to help meet the constant universal need for blood transfusions.
The drive will be held at WVU Tech’s learning resource center from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Red Cross reports a current universal blood shortage.
To encourage more donations, the organization is offering exclusive Red Cross T-shirts to people who donate between September 1 and 15.
Anyone wanting to give blood must bring their photo id, a blood donor card, or two forms of identification to donate.
