Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Local culinary student earns full-ride scholarship.
According to a Facebook post from Tamarack Marketplace, WVU Tech culinary student Jacob Watson has won a full ride scholarship to the WVU Culinary Program after “crushing it” at the WVU Culinary Competition. Watson also wins a trip to New York City.
Watson, a culinary student at WVU Tech, has recently been promoted from on-call staff to Full-Time Baker at Tamarack Marketplace.
Watson says: “I love my job. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my Tamarack Marketplace family.”
