WVU Research Corporation announced a massive restructuring in its labor force

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia University Research Corporation has announced a massive restructuring in its labor force, with plans to shift more than 500 employees over to the University.

Technically, a layoff, the corporation says that every employee affected will be offered an identical state position.

The corporation said the reorganization will reduce administrative burden and cost.
