
Morgantown, WV (WOAY) Graduates from the West Virginia University School of Nursing are celebrating a major achievement.
The Class of 2025 from the Morgantown Campus Bachelor of Science in Nursing program earned a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the NCLEX-RN, the national licensing exam required to become a registered nurse.
All 122 graduates passed on their first attempt.
Dean Dr. Tara Hulsey says the accomplishment reflects both the quality of the school’s educators and the dedication of its students.
Meanwhile, graduates from the Bridgeport Campus Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program also posted a 100 percent first-time pass rate.
The achievement marks the second year in a row for that campus.
Across all locations, the School of Nursing’s 2025 graduates achieved an overall first-time pass rate of 94.4%.
