Princeton, WV (WOAY)-WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is launching its Together We Can Community Food and Relief Drive.
The campaign aims to help fight food insecurity across southern West Virginia.
The drive kicks off Tuesday, November 4, at 1:30 p.m. near the hospital’s ER entrance.
PCH President and CEO Karen Bowling will lead the initiative.
With SNAP benefits reduced and food banks seeing record demand, the hospital is calling on employees, patients, and community members to come together to support local families in need.
Donations of cash and nonperishable food will go to Mountaineer Foodbank, Facing Hunger Foodbank, and Child Protect of Mercer County, with the state matching food bank contributions.
Collection boxes are available at Princeton Community Hospital and its clinic locations across Mercer County.
The campaign runs through Thursday, November 13.
