Mercer County, WV (WOAY) – WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital unveiled the results of its community food and relief drive this afternoon.
The hospital reported donations of more than 17,000 pounds of food and essential supplies, as well as more than 14,500 meals provided.
All the items collected will help people in Mercer County and nearby communities. PCH CEO Karen Bowling said hospital employees played an invaluable role in leading the drive.
The drive was launched amid SNAP benefit delays.
