WOAY – The WVSSAC released its second set of football playoff rankings on Tuesday. Eight area teams are currently in the top 16 of their respective classes, with Westside currently 18th in Class AA and Summers County 19th in Class A.
The area teams currently in the top 16:
CLASS AA – #1 Bluefield, #5 Nicholas County, #6 Oak Hill, #7 James Monroe
CLASS A – #5 Fayetteville (tie), #5 Midland Trail (tie), #9 Mount View (tie), #13 Montcalm
