Beckley, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia First Foundation’s Hold the Line tour recognizes and supports organizations that have long been on the front lines of the Mountain State’s opioid epidemic.
One of those is the Southern West Virginia Fellowship Home.
“The WVFF is enabling us to expand and help more people. It’s also kind of a validation, a recognition for the work we do that sometimes goes unrecognized,” said Executive Director Ron Campbell.
According to Campbell, they’ve spent the money wisely.
“I think we’ve been able to expand in some areas that will be helpful to people as they stay in recovery,” the executive director said. “And we get to meet the people who decided we should get the money, which is special.”
