Monroe County, WV (WOAY) – Heads up for drivers in Monroe County, construction is set to begin on West Virginia Route 63 near Monroe Draft starting Monday, July 21.
The project will focus on replacing the bridge deck between mileposts 21.36 and 21.38, with crews working daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, July 25.
While the bridge will remain open during the work, expect significant delays, which may be longer than 15 minutes.
Officials are urging drivers to plan and consider alternate routes during construction hours.
The West Virginia Division of Highways apologizes for any inconvenience and reminds drivers to use caution, obey all posted traffic signs, and stay alert when traveling through the work zone.
