Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Following Governor Justice’s recent Executive Order to limit restaurants and bars, the Tourism Office launched a new initiative to promote restaurants still operating under limited circumstances and to encourage residents to support local establishments during these trying times.
The Tourism Office is calling on all restaurant owners across the state to share updated hours of operation, available dining services and more. To date, more than 150 restaurants statewide have signed up.
All collected data is being populated and promoted on the Tourism Office’s new online dining guide. This interactive webpage is designed to share real-time information with residents and visitors about which dining establishments are open, operating and call out those who may be offering new carry out, drive-thru and delivery services.
The Tourism Office would love your help in spreading the word about this new effort, encouraging restaurants in your area to sign up and residents to start using this service for their remote dining needs.
