Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – West Virginia has received 88 million dollars from federal programs to help homeowners improve home efficiency and lower utility costs.
The money is funding West Virginia’s new home energy rebate program, which will repay homeowners for some or all of the costs of improving their home energy efficiency.
Low-income households will receive higher levels of assistance that include eligible improvements with no out-of-pocket costs and moderate-income and above households may be eligible for rebates for a portion of costs.
