WV Public Service Commission joins national effort to recognize truck drivers for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

Charleston, WV (WOAY) West Virginia officials are recognizing the commercial truck drivers who help keep goods and services moving across the state and nation.
The Public Service Commission of West Virginia joined the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to mark National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
PSC staff, transportation officers, and FMCSA staff greeted drivers at the I64 eastbound weigh station, handing out informational packets and thanking drivers for their work.
The materials included information about the FMCSA’s drug and alcohol clearinghouse, along with tips for managing fatigue and staying alert behind the wheel.
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week runs September 13-19 this year.
