WV Hive receives grant from USDA to expand services in Beckley

Beckley, WV (WOAY)- The West Virginia Hive announces a $99,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Development program.

WV Hive will use the funding to create additional business incubation and retail space at 111 Main Street in Beckley. 

The grant will support the first phase of renovations to the building.

Executive director of the WV Hive and deputy director of New River Gorge Regional Development Authority, Judy Moore, states that once all phases of the project are finished, over 11,000 square feet of space on Main Street will be available to entrepreneurs participating in the WV Hive’s accelerator expansion initiative.
