WV Hive debuts new Beckley location to help your business succeed

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Hive has officially moved its business hub to 129 Main Street in Beckley — an expanded location in the United Bank building.

It’s an exciting step forward for the region’s premier business support and innovation center.

Having the new offices under one roof is game-changing.

“Allowing us to fully implement the activities and offerings that we wanted to provide through the business hub. Now have space that is office space or co-working space, and meeting space. We also have a makerspace and a prototype typing lab. It’s going to open up so many opportunities for us,” Executive Director Judy Moore said.

According to Moore, when they first moved into the Kanawha Street location, they thought that building was going to house its administrative staff and the business hub.

“We grew, and outgrew it very, very quickly, said the executive director. “Then this opportunity presented itself at the United Bank location, which now allows us to bring it all back together under one roof. And it’s just going to be much more seamless.”
