Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) The West Virginia Department of Tourism is thrilled to announce a larger-than-life event to celebrate the country’s 250th birthday.
The 4-day celebration will take place at the state capitol complex from Thursday, July 2nd, to Sunday, July 5th.
Festivities go from 5 to 10 pm on Thursday, but last all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm, with fireworks Friday and Saturday night.
Attendees can experience live music, capital tours, an artisan market, light shows, local food, and even performances of 1776 the musical.
