Work Week Stays Dry; Rain Starts Friday

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): As we start November, temperatures will be sticking in the mid-50s in the afternoon and falling back into the mid-30s overnight. Skies will stay mostly clear, making for nice conditions across the region. However, layers should be worn through the day, especially if you start the day early or end the day late. The calm weather will last through most of the week, but rain will be coming into the forecast. Meteorologist Christian Boteler dives into the forecast:

Wednesday will be a great day as temperatures break 60 degrees and skies stay mostly clear through the day. We can thank an incoming warm front for the brief uptick in temperature. It will be the best day to be outside and do anything from yard work to sports this week by a good margin thanks to the wonderful combination of temperatures and cloud cover. Thursday will return us to the upper 50s, but the mostly sunny skies stay for a bit longer.

Rain will be coming back into the forecast Friday afternoon as a low-pressure system to our north passes through. The best chances of rain are on Friday, but showers will linger Saturday morning before a second low-pressure system takes a similar path. This will bring yet another line of showers through the region overnight Saturday into Sunday morning before scattered showers linger for the rest of the day. Here’s your 7-Day Forecast:
