Morgantown, WV (WOAY) – The Pride of West Virginia will soon have a new practice facility.
Work has officially started on the first phase of construction on the Mountaineer Marching Band’s new practice facility, which is located at the Med Fields on Chestnut Ridge Road in Morgantown next to Mountaineer Station.
The new area will provide the band with a full-sized, artificial turf field with stadium lighting, a storage building and a covered pavilion.
A dedicated fan of the band matched the first $50,000 raised.
