Montgomery, WV (WOAY) – WVU Tech women’s basketball looked to go above .500 in conference play on Friday night, but IU Southeast began the fourth quarter with a big run, going on to win 66-56.
Savannah Shamblin led the Lady Golden Bears with 12 points, while Cheyanna Lusk & Laura Requena each had eight points.
WVU Tech (9-6, 2-3 RSC) hosts Brescia on Saturday, and will stay in Montgomery Monday for a matchup with Bluefield College.
