Logan, WV (WOAY) -Fire claims the life of a Logan County woman.
According to a media release from the West Virginia State Police, on Tuesday March 25, 2025, around 6:30 a.m. Troopers were called to assist the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office in investigating a fire-related fatality on Yuma Camp Road in the Logan area.
Troopers tell WOAY that 67-year-old Vicki Lynn Dengler of Logan was found unconscious lying on the floor at the rear of the residence. After being transported by ambulance to Logan Regional Medical Center, Dengler was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be conducted at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Charleston. This is an ongoing investigation.
