Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Raleigh County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a woman for possession of meth with intent to deliver.
According to a media release, Corporal J. Howard pulled a vehicle over in the area of I-64 in Beaver on Monday.
During the investigation, deputies called in a K-9 Grom and his handler, Corporal J. Hensley, for further assistance. A short time later, K-9 Grom detected the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle.
Deputies seized approximately 90 grams of methamphetamine as a result of the investigation.
46-year-old Melissa Eugenia Raines has been arrested and is held on a $25,000 bond.
