WOAY-TV (Victor, WV): Storm damage from the Tuesday, April 2 outbreak continues to be identified.
The Ansted Fire Department alerted WOAY-TV to a small area of downed trees on Lucas Road in Victor, W.Va., very close to the Gauley River. Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill and Reporter Mike Teaney surveyed the damage. Note: The National Weather Service in Charleston would need to make the final assessment on whether a tornado or straight-line winds were responsible for the damage.
