With high school football just weeks away, WOAY is excited to kick off its summer football tour. Sports Reporter Matt Rineer, alongside Sports Director Kayvon Ezami, will travel from team to team throughout Southern West Virginia, interviewing players and coaches to learn about their expectations, surprises, and standout players for each team.
Matt Rineer got the tour started with a stop at Independence. He sat down with State Champion Head Coach John Lilly to discuss this year’s Patriots team, the challenges they may face, and more.
